High school blood donors are critical to sustained healthcare excellence in our region. Young, healthy and community-minded, they account for nearly 20 percent of all local blood donations during the school year.
The LifeSource High School Scholarship Program gives back to these students by recognizing their effort and commitment. The High School Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to worthy students who plan to continue their education after high school.
Depending on the number of participating donors at school drives, schools can receive thousands of scholarship dollars for their students. Scholarship dollars increase the more drives and participating donors a school has, but schools can be eligible for funds by hosting even one drive. Schools receive credit for any donor who donates on behalf of the high school at any location (not just at the high school), so parents, teachers, siblings, family members, employees, etc., can support high school students and their high school by donating with LifeSource.
View high school group codes. The school group code must be mentioned and entered at the time of registration for the school to receive credit.
Together, we can deliver a positive life lesson for high school students through their unselfish act of donating blood.
