Forty Fort Troop 143 Boy Scout Seeks Highest Rank & Organizes Blood Drive in Kingston, PA
16-year-old Joel Sorber is urging area residents to help Geisinger Blood Center to replenish its supplies by donating blood, because it’s an everyday need and there is no substitute for human blood.
As part of his Eagle Scout project, Sorber is organizing a blood drive on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Kingston Fire Hall, 600 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston PA.
“We’re really proud of how Joel has organized this blood drive as part of his Eagle Scout service project and helps us reinforce our message that one pint of blood can support up to three lives,” says Mike Quint, Geisinger Blood Center Director.
To help Joel with his project, please make an appointment to donate here.
